The Cole Zelwin Memorial Foundation

Cole had a passion for helping others.  He was one of the kindest, caring and giving people you could ever meet.  In his memory, through the foundation, we will be helping families fighting pediatric Leukemia through the gift of music as well as supporting research.

Cole had a love for music.  He listened to all different genres and enjoyed discovering new music.  He started playing acoustic guitar when he was five years old.  He eventually added electric guitar to his repertoire.  He loved to sing and was also taking voice lessons.

Music has a way of bringing people together.  It evokes emotion, creates connections, and cultivates a sense of unity.  Listening to music has shown to release the hormone dopamine, which helps relieve feelings of stress and anxiety.  It also activates the release of endorphins, which creates a general feeling of happiness.  Music has many other benefits such as sleeping better, pain reduction, reducing depression and strengthening learning and memory.  To share Cole's love of music and sound, we will be helping families fighting pediatric Leukemia through the joy of music by allowing each child to design their own custom bluetooth speaker.

We will know where every dollar is going that and can make sure that the money is truly going to better the lives of pediatric blood cancer patients and their families.
